Star Wars: Darth Vader and the Lost Command #1 Poster (Douglas Wheatley Cover)
The Previews mini-poster of Darth Vader and The Lost Command #1 (Douglas Wheatley Cover) will be up in my wall soon.
Facination
Several weeks ago, as I was going through the latest Diamond Comics Previews at my local comic book shop, I spotted this (right) — the 1st of 12 variant Star Wars: 25th Anniversary covers in Dark Horse Comics’ on-going series entitled “Star Wars: Darth Vader and the Lost Command #1.
I was immediately drawn to the mini Previews poster that featured the Sith Lord (flanked by two stormtroopers) walking through (what appears to be) gigantic cargo bay doors with his ignited crimson lightsaber in hand.
Wow!
My personal caption for this piece: “Give me five minutes. Then clean up the mess.”
Now wouldn’t that be something.

My fascination for the Pym character is relatively simple. He is Marvel's Scientist Supreme and one of the original founding members of The Avengers.
Despite his accomplishments, Dr. Pym is also quite flawed. He gave sentience to the evil robot known as Ultron, he is estranged/divorced (depending on the continuity) from his wife Janet van Dyne, and on top of it all, the good doctor seems to have low self-esteem issues that manifest itself in the numerous costume personalities he has donned: Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Goliath, Yellowjacket, and most recently, The Wasp.
Yet the capacity to do good is still inherent in Hank Pym and I guess that is why I like this particular Marvel character.
